Founder’s, Institute and Alumini Day was celebrated with quite enthusiastically on 23^rd March 2018.

Highlights:

• Dr. K. Sivan – Chairman , ISRO was the Guest of Honour and spoke about the Space Programme of the country.
• Mr. Robert Burgess  – Consul General, US Consulate Chennai  was the Key note speaker.
• The Outstanding Alumnus awardee  Mr. K. V. Bhima Rao  2^nd  Batch Electronics – Rtd. Chief Engineer AIR & DD  delivered the Rajam Memorial Lecture .Very nostalgic about his interaction with the Founder and the early Professors of the institute.
• The Distinguished Alumnus awardee Mr. N. Ramakrishna – M.D Precia Molen  fondly spoke about  his MIT days.
• Mr. B. Senthilnathan – Jt.Secretary falicitated the Guest of Honour.
• Mr. T. M. Jawaharlal, Mr. R. Balaji and Mr. N. Ramachandran, Patron and Past- Presidents of MITAA felicitated the Outstanding Alumnus, Distinguished Alumnus and the Chief guest respectively.
• Mr. HSR Sharma of MITAA  falicitated  the Outstanding Student awardee.
• Mr. Senthamil Arasu – President MITAA, welcomed the gathering.
• Annual Report of the Institute presented by MIT Dean Dr. A. Rajadurai.
• Dr. S. Ganesan – Registrar, Anna University and Mr. V. Balasubramaniam of Founder’s family gave memorable speech.
• Mr. Lakshmi Shankar, Secretary MITTAA concluded the function.
